The first thing you need to do when launching Mario Maker 2 is choosing the option of the gameplay. As you already know from the first part, there are two of them: a storytelling mode, where you experience the new adventure of Mario, and the building one, where you create new levels using the tools provided by the game. So choose the style, but remember that you have an option of switching across the modes, which means that you can start another one at any moment. The building mode is all about making combinations of the game elements. This is an opportunity to arrange the stages the way you want. You can place the enemies, obstacles, features, and everything else that is presented on the screen right in front of you. Arrange them in a way you want and behold! You have made the first step in your game designing career. By the way, both modes have background soundtracks – the classical ones. Those nostalgic melodies you know from your childhood.
This title is a sequel to the first part and you have a whole 3D world with beautiful graphics and amazing details to check out. The textures are fantastic and look better than in the previous part. The main character, Mario, has new skills – he can jump on the walls and roll over. In the storytelling mode, you will meet the well-known friends and bosses. The first ones will surely help you complete the mission, while the second ones, as always, will start intense and energetic battles with you. There are even levels that include car racing, so the entire universe of Super Mario Maker 2 is incredibly variable. When you have had enough of the one mode, you can move to another with one click. But remember that some features like new Mario’s skills are not transferrable.
