Collect the strongest of Brawlers!
In case you don’t know what MOBA is, this is an action game where characters controlled by real players fight each other. There is a wide range of heroes to choose from in Brawl Stars – they are called Brawlers. Each character has their own parameters, type of attack and superpower allowing you to pick one that fits your battle tactics and play style. The heroes are also upgradeable – you can improve their characteristics for points that you get when you win a match. Parameters grow slightly, but at some point it will be felt. Treasure chests that you’ll get in case of victory can also collect new Brawlers that you can add to your lineup.
The fights are quick, but not dumb. They contain an unexpected amount of tactics: the characters strongly differ in speed, characteristics and superattacks. There are close-range fighters, snipers, healers and bomb launchers. The control scheme is convenient and easy to get the hang of. The map features not only high grass for diversions, but also shelters – destructible and not. You can use all that to creep on your enemies from flanks, lay ambush and run a position war.
Death match and team modes
Brawl Stars can also boast a broad choice of modes. The classic one is Showdown – some sort of a mini royal battle allowing you to get a whole range of emotions in just 2-4 minutes. There are just ten participants, the map isn’t big and instead of equipment in boxes you’ll find regular hero boosts. The more you collect the stronger your character will become. This is a nice way to balance the chances of the fighters regardless of their levels.
Other modes include Gem Grab, Heist, Brawl Ball and Siege. The participants are split into teams and have to win by performing a certain condition – either destroy a safe protected by the enemies, collect more crystals on the map than the other team or score two goals playing a variety of soccer.
